I got started with Blogger on September 2, 2010 following my successful cancer treatments as a way of getting back to living and interacting with the world again. Thank you for giving me that opportunity.
I have found Blogger to be relatively easy to learn as compared to Wordpress, haven't tried others, but I am frustrated by a couple of things that I hope will improve.
I want to share them here with you briefly:
1. Communicationing with someone about problems I experience with Blogger in real time or something approximating real time would be great. Live chats would work really well I think.
2. When writing an article I oftentimes want some snippet out of another article I have written, but doing a search within Blogger for the post almost always fails. It takes at least 3 attempts to find something. I can find something on Blogger faster if I go out to Google and do a search on my own posts or use the "Search" blog feature provided for my readers.
3. This next item is actually the most aggravating of all. I do a lot of cutting/pasting from previous articles to save time and almost invariable Blogger will change the text, font size, color, position put in extra spaces. And even after I re-edit it still seems to have a mind of its own. I find this issue so maddening that I have considered switching over to another blogging service, but I don't want to do that since I am familiar with how to blog with Blogger.
I hope that the partnership with Google will help to resolve some if not all of these issues.
I hope that the transition goes smoothly for you and for us.
